Ballots were counted today for the ratification of the 2-year PG&E contract extension. The result was strongly in favor of approval: 1,161 ballots were returned, 1,089 were “yes,” 64 were “no,” and 8 were invalid.
The ballot committee consisted of: Belal Abdul-Hadi, Gas Plant Engineer; Ernesto Acuna, Design Engineer; Willie Albovias, Sr. Design Drafter; Dennis Kwan, Design Engineer; Kevin Langenberger, Sr. Project Controls Analyst; Curtis Moradkhani, Design Engineer Debbie Wang, Design Engineer; Deanna Williams, Sr. New Business Rep; and Nancy Yan, Design Engineer.

In mid-June, ESC reached a Tentative Agreement with PG&E management to extend the ESC Agreement for two years beyond the current expiration date of December 31, 2019.
This Tentative Agreement provides that all ESC members will receive general wage increases (GWIs) of 3% on January 1, 2020 and 3% on January 1, 2021.
