VA Accountability & Whistleblower Protection Act by name is misleading and had effectively turned back the clock on the due process rights of VA workers and their unions’ ability to defend them. Now, Rep. Brad Wenstrup (R. OH) is encouraging other federal government agencies to adopt the Veterans Administration’s (VA) draconian personnel practices. IFPTE is joining other labor organizations, representing hundreds of thousands of federal workers nationwide and across the globe, in urging US Representatives to reject this misguided effort led by Rep.
